Ewoks Win! Nuff Said...

Do I really need to describe what this is? I'm here for the same reason you are.

krsramblr asked: and about your comment on my "i need a new job" post, BUT THAT JOB MIGHT INVOLVE MATH. ;P What kind of people do they need there?

They just need tellers. You need a high school diploma to do this job. You type numbers in, and then someone more qualified gives you money from a back room. You just get to stamp shit.

Is it weird that I want to have a 6’7” man impregnate me, just because he’s so GOD DAMN GORGEOUS! Also, he has the most adorable voice, and he is actually smart, and I could meet Karl Pilkington through him. Things to wish for, I suppose. #patheticlifeaspirations

As complete a collection I could make of possibly my favorite shoot of him ever

We were all winded when we got to the top of the hill. The last 100 feet of the sand dune was at a 30% gradient and it disintegrated under your burning legs as we clawed to the top. Night had fallen in the desert and brought with it the chill that seemed to seep up from the shifting grains below, your fingernails cold at the same time sweat rolled down your back.
So now, here we were.
Standing high above a makeshift camp our bellies full of fresh food and our skin dry and pink from a day in the sun. Photographers, writers, and designers standing on a dune an hour outside of Abu Dhabi in the pitch black and saying nothing. Nightly prayers laid their long arms across the valley below via loudspeakers and we said nothing.
We were strangers a few days ago, brought to a foreign place by Puma to cover a sport we knew nothing about. A group of people more talented than I, who have amazed me with their charm and drive. People who did not see a spot for themselves in the world and so decided to make one. We all had started Tumblr’s at some point in our life to explore a passion and now those same blogs have us sitting on this dune after a day of doing things we only ever dreamed of. I was thinking how This world is wonderful and strange when I thought I heard someone laugh, but alas it was all silence and prayer.

THEN ALL OF THE SUDDEN

Sometimes, someone tells you that they’ll have everything figured out, and you assume that they will go through with what they say. I used to trust those people. I don’t anymore. Now, I’m not saying that there aren’t a million completely vaible excuses as to why exactly someone didn’t do what they said they would do. There are. I’ve used them; we all have. The difference is that I’m able to own up to my mistakes. And I don’t get all upitty when the person who I let down is mad at me. I’m not that stupid.

Anyways, minirant over. So, yesterday I was walking with Arcticvoyage guy through SUB, and I run into Dramalatino. I’m not trying to sound like my life is filled with #TSM’s, but I’ve slept with both of them. And I have feelings for Dramalatino. (Not that I want to have feelings for Dramalatino, but hey! Shit happens. His brother, Spick, told me that I should be more forthcoming with my feelings. I am inclined to agree. Not the point of this story though.) So Arcticvoyage and I are walking through SUB, and I notice Dramalatino. I don’t say hi, because Arcticvoyage is in a different frat, and I felt like that would be rude. But then Dramalatino pulls me over and gives me this strange half platonic half romantic hug out of nowhere. We literally end up talking for two hours. I feel kinda bad for Arcticvoyage, but hey! Now he knows Dramalatino (who is also the president of his frat).

And that is all. Remember, boys and girls (but mostly girls), life is awkward, and things are odd, and nothing ever goes as planned.

bitchesin-tokyo asked: hey! this is random, buuut i lurked your tumblr via kristin's tumblr. i'm planning on going into ethno for grad school, so it's so sweet to see someone else who not only knows what it is, but wants to do it as well! :D

That’s awesome! I just found out what it was a couple of weeks ago, but now I can’t think of wanting to do anything more than that!
